The old town of Kotor is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in this part of the Mediterranean. The unique architecture of the town can be recognized in the asymmetric nature of the narrow streets and squares, as well as the medieval architecture.Built by the Venetians, their style is instantly recognisable in the buildings around the town. The town wall itself is fifteen metres wide and twenty metres high, strong enough to withstand years of attacks on this impressive town! The best views over the Gulf of Kotor are from Ivan Tower, which looks out across the bay. You climb up the 290 metres to reach the top where the views will take your breath away. Kayak to the Lady of the Rock island and town of Perast - It’s back onto the water today, as you return to your kayak and head out on the lake once more. On the Gulf of Kotor once more, you head first for Our Lady of the Rock. Legend tells that this island was formed by the seamen who kept an ancient oath after finding a religious icon on the island in 1452. Each time they returned from a successful voyage, these seamen laid a rock in the bay, which became this island. To mark this event, every July local residents take their boats and throw rocks into the sea, widening the surface of the island. After your visit this year, be sure to return, as the island will not be the same size again! From Our Lady of the Rock, you then continue by kayak to the town of Perast and explore the town, before returning to Prcanj for the night. 9km of kayaking. Meals: B, D

We will cycle on the small road to one of the most popular sandy beach in the region- The Blue Horizon. After lunch we continue by mini bus to the beach at Sveti Stefan. Connected to the mainland only by a tiny isthmus, this tiny resort has developed since the 1950s from a fishing village to one of the most glamorous in the Mediterranean. Over the years it has played host to Marylin Monroe, Kirk Douglas and Claudia Schiffer. There is time here for a swim, so you can feel like one of the stars yourself! From here you continue on to your accommodation in the tiny town of Virpazar at the Skadar Lake. 3* Hotel. Cycling 15km on asphalt road, ascent +180m/ descent -180m. Meals: B, D

Declared a national park in 1983, there are known to be 270 species of bird on the lake including, famously, pelicans. You start the day with a boat trip on the lake, so keep your eyes peeled to see what you might see! If the weather is good, why not go for a swim in the lake itself? After lunch transfer to the village of Gondinje, once the home of many family clans who ruled over Montenegro in the past. Here, you might get to visit a local wine producer, and try some of their excellent produce (adults only!). Meals: B, D
