  • Day1 - 2
    Your guide will meet you at Hosea Kutako airport, 50 km from Windhoek City. Drive to Windhoek to check in. Relax and do an afternoon City tour. Visit different parts of the city - different suburbs. Visit historical buildings, dating from the German Colonial times and the war museum next to Parliament. Your guide will give you an overview of history of Windhoek and Namibia. Dinner with your guide at "Joe's Beerhouse" restaurant to discuss the itinerary.

  • Day2 - 3
    Depart via Okahandja. Visit the woodcarvers markets for hand made articles from wood, ivory, stone etc. Arrive at Erindi by noon. Check in, lunch and relax. Go on an afternoon game drive with an opensided 4x4 vehicle, guided by one the local guides. Wildlife to be seen can be Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Cheetah, Wild dog etc. Snacks will be served in the bush and return for dinner by sunset. Enjoy dinner at the restaurant with a view on the waterhole. Hippos, Elephant, Kudu, Giraffe and other species of wildlife will be seen here during the evening.

    Do early morning and afternoon game drives on the ranch again for wildlife viewing.

  • Day4 - 5
    Depart to Otjiwarongo and drive another 44 km to the Cheetah Foundation. Arrive by noon. Attend the Cheetah feeding near reception area. Enjoy a light lunch and attend a short briefing session about the activities/programs of the Foundation. Cheetah conservation in Namibia is a great success story to be told. Go on an opensided 4x4 vehicle with a local guide into the ranch to see more Cheetahs for great photos. Depart to your hotel in Otjiwarongo to arrive before sunset. Dinner and overnight.

    Depart to Etosha National Park via Outjo. Arrive at Okaukeujo by noon. Do game drive during the afternoon and visit different waterholes for wildlife viewing: Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Giraffe, Zebra, Springbok, Kudu, Oryx and many more.

    Depart to Kamanjab to visit the Himba tribe. Spend time, accompanied by a local Herero speaking guide from the community, to hear the history of this sub group, the Himba People, of the Herero Ethnic group in Namibia. See their cultural activities and dressed in traditional clothing. Their continued ancient lifestyle on display. Drive to Grootberg Lodge (Big Mountain Lodge) on top of the Etendeka Mountains for lunch. Enjoy this stunning and breathtaking view over the Klip river valley and mountains for great pictures. Depart to Palmwag lodge, only 20 km away to check in at your lodge on the banks of the Hoanib river. Desert Elephants roaming in this area may be near your lodge, as well as other wildlife species coming to the water in the river. Dinner and overnight.

  • Day9 - 10
    Drive with a very scenic road via the Huab valley to Twyfelfontein. Visit the "Damara Living Museum" near Twyfelfontein at the foot of a Granite mountain. Be treated by the Damara People with their history, medicine used from plants in the area, fire making methods, dances etc. Depart to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon activity: Go on an off-road nature/Elephant drive in an opensided 4x4 vehicle into the Huab valley to see the beautiful scenery and Desert Elephants. Return by sunset for dinner and overnight.

  • Day10 - 11
    Depart after breakfast to the World Heritage site: Bushmen Rock Engravings. Do a short walking trail at the foot of the mountain with one of the community guides. Hear the history and see the different rock engravings while walking. Drive to the Burnt Mountain - near Doris Crater. Visit the Organ Pipes rock formation and depart via Skeleton Coast Park to Cape Cross Lodge in Dorob National Park. Lunch packs will be served on the way to the coast. Travel along the sea and see some remnants of old shipwrecks and oil drill. Visit Ugab river mouth lagoon where you may see Flamingo and other birds breeding along the freshwater next to the sea. Arrive at Cape Cross Lodge late afternoon. Check in, relax, walk on beach, dinner.

    Visit Cape Cross Seal island and drive to Henties Bay. Visit shipwreck next to the road and arrive in Swakopmund before noon. Check in. Afternoon activity can be a guided quad bike drive in the dunes or just relax and visit the Moon landscape at the Swakop river late afternoon. Visit the shopping malls, dinner and overnight.

    Do morning activities in Swakopmund/Walvis Bay area. Catamaran/boat trip: 09h00 to 12h30 Tommy's tours desert trip Guided quad bike tour in the dunes 4x4 Sandwich harbour excursion and more to choose from. All are for your own account and will be arranged by your guide. Lunch in Walvis Bay and depart to Sossusvlei via Kuiseb river valley, Solitaire and the desert to your lodge. Dinner and overnight.

    Today you will be out early morning. Travel to Sossusvlei. Make several stops to see fairy circles and shades on the dunes for great pictures. Do a short walking trail to "Dead vlei" and Sossusvlei and climb the surrounding dunes. Oryx, Springbok and Ostriches are often to be seen in the dunes and river. Back to dune 45 to climb it and take photos. Back at your lodge for a late lunch. Afternoon: Visit Sesriem Canyons where you do a short walking trail into the canyon. Dinner and overnight.
