Elephants, Buffalo and all other wild animals freely roam the bush across the road from the Guesthouse and you are advised to keep your eyes peeled, Ellies have been known to parade down the main street in Vic Falls just for thrills. There is something for everyone today beyond simply viewing the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls (on foot, at night, by plane, by chopper?). Thrill seekers can whitewater-raft, bungee-jump, cage-dive with crocs. Less mad people can enjoy Kraft beer in town or visit the Vic Falls hotel for some old-world class. You may stop at Robins camp for lunch before proceeding deeper into the park to your exclusive wild campsite. You will set up your own camp and prepare dinner using the equipment provided with the 4x4. We collaborate with Zimparks to book you into various remote "picnic sites" deep in the park for your overnight stay. • Day5 - 6
Up at sunrise to ensure you cover the 200km from Tuskers to the Kariba Ferry in time for embarkation at 10:00. Don't worry, it is tar road all the way and should take less than 2 hours. The route meanders through beautiful bush and takes in the famous "bridge over the River Gwaai". This is true African freedom, driving one of the most scenic route in Africa through the bush to the tiny village of Mlibizi at the top end of Lake Kariba. The Kariba Ferry departs at 10:30 sharp. The Kariba Ferries team will help you board and you retire to the upper decks to sit in the sun enjoying the gentle breeze created by the forward motion of the ship and take in the 360 degree panoramas of this vast man-made lake. You will see elephants on the shoreline and herds of buffalo on the grassy banks. The ship sails 300km in 22 hours the length of the lake and is a classic "Zim" houseboat experience. The galley serves 3 buffet meals whilst you survey the horizons.

Your accommodation will be at Lomagundi Lakeside Resort, an oasis of green grass on the shore of the lake. Watch out for Hippo and Zebra who come to graze on the lawn you camp upon.
