  • Day1 - 2
    Arriving at Entebbe international airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Visit Gorillas Uganda safaris representative and transfer to your lodge for briefing, dinner and overnight. Enjoy the beuaty of Kampala in the evening as you see the whole Kamapala that was formely called Kempla meaning hill of Impalas.

  • Day2 - 3
    After breakfast, you will explore the vibrant and chaotic city of Kampala. discover historical and political sites including the Uganda Parliament, the ancient tombs of the Kabakas, where Buganda tribe laid their kings to rest, Baha'i temple, old Kampala Gaddafi mosque. Kampala is full of culinary wonders. Taste some of the eclectic cuisines of the region including the local cuisines, Indian, Turkish, French etc.

  • Day3 - 4
    After breakfast, you will depart for Murchison falls national park passing via Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino trekking, have lunch and embark on the journey to Murchison falls national park. Murchison Falls National Park sits on the shore of Lake Albert, in northwest Uganda. It’s known for Murchison Falls, where the Victoria Nile River surges through a narrow gap over a massive drop. Park wildlife includes elephants and hippos, and there are chimpanzees in the Kaniyo Pabidi mahogany forest. The Lake Albert Delta is home to rare shoebill storks.

  • Day4 - 5
    This morning, you will depart for an early morning game drive across the rolling plains of Uganda's largest national park returning later to the lodge for breakfast. The 3893 square kilometers park is a home of 76 mammal specie that include elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, jackals, antelopes among others, 451 bird species include secretary bird, black chested snake eagle, Abyssinian ground horn bill, northern carmine bee eaters among others. And later after lunch, depart for a boat cruise to the bottom of the Murchison falls where River Nile thunders through a 7 m squeezed gorge plunging 43 meters into the devil's cauldron on its way to lake Albert. The banks are densely populated with crocodiles, hippos and a range other animals that come to drink and cool their bodies ie elephants, water bucks among others. Thereafter transfer back to your lodge.

  • Day5 - 6
    After breakfast, you will visit the top of the Murchison falls in the morning and later transfer to hoima to break the long journey Hoima is a city in the Western Region of Uganda. It is the main municipal, administrative, and commercial center of Hoima District. It is also the location of the palace of the Omukama of Bunyoro.

  • Day6 - 7
    This morning, you will have breakfast and transfer to Kibale national Park. It found in Western Uganda, protecting moist evergreen rain forest. It is 766 square kilometres in size and is located between 1,100 metres to 1,600 metres in elevation. Despite encompassing primarily moist evergreen forest, it contains a diverse array of landscapes. It is ahome to the most closet human family called the Pantroglodyte with the DNA of (98%).

  • Day7 - 8
    You will have an early morning breakfast and go chimpanzee trekking along the network of forest trails seeing habituated chimpanzees squabbling and swinging from the trees is an exhilarating experience. You will spend the morning in the forest returning to the lodge in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will have a visit to Bigodi wetland sanctuary which is rich in bird species, vegetation and wildlife. This is also great opportunity to support local tourism initiatives which benefit social and economical development in the area.

  • Day8 - 9
    After breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park venturing into the crater lakes, hike and later continue to the park. It has the highest bio-diversity ratings of wildlife in Uganda. It's Uganda's second largest national park, the 1978 square kilometers has everything from open Savannah to rain forests. Queen Elizabeth national park has over 100 mammals species, and outstanding 606 bird species, making it a premier safari destination. You will have a game drive and proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

  • Day9 - 10
    In the morning, you will have a game drive to Kasenyi area where animals converge like elephants, buffaloes, antelopes for its an open Savannah and lions for big herds of preys. And then return to the lodge for breakfast. In the afternoon, take a cruise along Kazinga channel, home of the largest concentration of schools of hippos, herds of elephants, buffaloes among others that come to drink and cool their bodies. The Kazinga channel also attracts the tremendous variety of bird species ie African fish eagle, open-billed stork, kingfishers among others because of fish. You will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

  • Day10 - 11
    After breakfast, you will have a game drive as you depart for the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth national park famed for the tree climbing lions, arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. Relax and later go for an evening game drive and come back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

  • Day11 - 12
    After breakfast, you will have a game drive in search of prides of lions hanging on fig trees, herds of Topis and elephants and later depart for kisoro passing via Kihihi and Kanungu with the beautiful scenery of hills and valleys of the terraced farming, arrive at the lodge in the afternoon have lunch and relax and await the following day's activities.

  • Day12 - 13
    You will have an early breakfast, and prepare for the Gorilla tracking exercise, you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing and later trek down the network of trails to track the rare Mountain Gorilla. Don't forget your lunch boxes and the gears to track. The exercise is for the whole day but it's well worth the efforts. There are always ranger guides with you to ensure your safety and to interpret flora and fauna and also the communications of the primates most especially the gorillas. Your guide will pick you in the evening and head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

  • Day13 - 14
    After breakfast, you will go for the Batwa community in Nyakabande where you will be entertained and then drive to lake mburo national park. You will do a game drive as you enter the park. Lake mburo is an extension of the Tanzanian plains with big herds of Zebras Impalas, Elands and other Savannah species. For birders, this is the best spot for the African fin foot, papyrus Gonolek, bush shrikes etc. You will go for an evening game drive and head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day14 - 15
    After breakfast, have a game drive and then proceed to Jinja. Have a stopover to look at drum makers, the equator where you will be able to stand on both Southern and Northern hemispheres at once, have lunch and then proceed with the journey to Jinja. Jinja is located at the northern end of Lake Victoria in South Eastern Uganda. It has a very pleasant climate with great temperatures. Jinja offers lots of activities to venture in and more so a very relaxing beautiful environment.

  • Day15 - 16
    After breakfast, you will go for a 4-5 white water rafting activity on River Nile and 25 km journey down the Nile. White water rafting are recreational outdoor activities which use an inflatable raft to navigate a river or other body of water. This is often done on whitewater or different degrees of rough water. Dealing with risk and the need for teamwork is often a part of the experience. You will later come back and relax at your hotel for the night.

    After breakfast, you will embark on the journey to Entebbe for your flight back home. On your to Entebbe you will pass Mabaira forest which is avery good pklace for bird watchers and nature lovers. Mabira Forest is a rainforest area covering about 300 square kilometres in Uganda, located in Buikwe District, between Lugazi and Jinja. It has been protected as Mabira Forest Reserve since 1932. It is home for many endangered species like the primate Lophocebus ugandae.
