This tour will give you an opportunity to see the famous great migration(about 2,000,000 wildebeests and 800,000 zebras) crossing the Mara river while the crocodiles try to attack them. The area is also one of the best place to see the endangered black rhino. This is one of unique excitements one can ever see on safari.

  • Day1 - 2
    After breakfast you will drive to Mto wa Mbu town for a guided village walk. This is a small but very busy town where people from all 120 tribes of Tanzania live together. The walk will give you an opportunity to interact with the local people, visit local homes, a traditional beer bar, banana and rice farms and lots more. You will then continue to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive with picnic lunch. In this park you will have opportunity to see some elephants, giraffes, hippos, impalas, dik diks, water bucks, flamingos and lots of monkeys. If you are very lucky you may also see the rare tree climbing lions and leopards. In the evening you will continue to Eileen's trees inn for dinner and overnight.

  • Day2 - 3
    After breakfast you will drive to Serengeti Mbugani camp for lunch then continue with game drive in Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is the park with the largest concentration of big mammals in the world. In this central area of the park you will have high opportunities to see lots of elephants, giraffes, hippos, warthogs, gazelles, impalas, lions, leopards, cheetahs and many other animals. In the evening you will return to Serengeti Osinon camp for dinner and overnight.

  • Day3 - 4
    Early morning game drive in Central Serengeti looking for hunting predators, then return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast depart with picnic lunch and drive towards the North Serengeti for game drive. The great migration is suppose to be in this area from late July to mid-October crossing the famous Mara river to Maasai Mara reserve in Kenya and back to Serengeti. You will have high opportunity to see them crossing while the crocodiles in the river attack them. The North Serengeti has also lots of big cats, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippos and it is another good place to see the endangered black rhino. In the late afternoon you will continue to Serengeti Mbugani camp (located in the North Serengeti) for dinner and overnight.

  • Day4 - 5
    Morning and afternoon game drive along the Mara river, with early departure. The great migration is suppose to be in this area from late July to mid-October crossing the famous Mara river to Maasai Mara reserve in Kenya and back to Serengeti. You will have high opportunity to see them crossing while the crocodiles in the river attack them. The North Serengeti has also lots of big cats, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippos and it is another good place to see the endangered black rhino. All meals and overnight will be at Mbugani migration camp.

  • Day5 - 6
    After early breakfast you will drive to Lobo area for game drive. Lobo is the area in North-East of Serengeti National park with unique landscape, and you will have high opportunity to see leopards, cheetahs, big prides of lions, the rare clip-springer antelopes and others. In the late afternoon you will continue to Central Serengeti for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Osinon camp.

  • Day6 - 7
    After breakfast you will drive to Ngorongoro crater for game drive with picnic lunch. You will spend the day on the floor of the crater (often called the eighth wonder of the world) exploring its reach flora and fauna. Because of permanent supply of food and water, animals stay in the crater all year long. This is the best place to see the rare endangered black rhinos and flamingos in lake Magadi. Other animals include Thomson's and Grant's gazelles, warthogs, hippos, zebras, water buck, hyenas, jackals and if you are lucky enough lions will be sleeping by your vehicle for shade. In the afternoon you will continue to Eileen's trees inn for dinner and overnight.

  • Day7
    After breakfast you will drive back to Arusha for lunch with a short stop on a traditional Maasai village on the way. After lunch you will visit Maasai market for shopping (if interested), then you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight back home.
