The incredible riches of wildlife in India are perhaps not sufficiently realised. It is home to not only tiger, but a mix of species of diverse origins - lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, wild buffalo and over 1,200 species of birds - preserved in numerous national parks across the country. Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan was a former hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur. Since then, it has taken the attention of many wildlife lovers and photographers. Madhya Pradesh in the heart of India is home to Panna, Bandhavgarh, Kanha and Pench National Parks. They are teeming with wildlife and you can expect sightings of endangered species while staying at wonderfully luxurious wildlife lodges.
