    Arrival You will be encountered at the International Airport of Kilimanjaro by our representative. We will take you to the Blues & Chutney Country B&B. This charming country home is located in the bases of Mt. Meru in a lush green setting. Our safari manager will come to see you and to provide you with a safari briefing.     Arusha National Park An early a.m. will plunge us in the African wild which at all times we dreamed about. The landscape of this small park is wonderfully diverse counting grassy plains, montane woodland, volcanic craters, bogs, and saline lakes. On rich days we have outstanding sights of Mount Meru and of Mount Kilimanjaro. We can pick to game drive, to go on a game walk accompanied by an armed ranger, or to do a canoe ride on one of the soda lakes. We hope to spot giraffe, buffalo and black as well as white colobus primates, as well as some of the shy woodland antelope – bushbuck, red duiker and maybe suni. Overnight: Public campsite inside Arusha National Park. Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

    Arusha-Lake Manyara This day we transfer to Lake Manyara. Much of the northern part of the park is fed by subversive water from the Ngorongoro Plateaus and as a result is enclosed in dense forest undergrowth, giving the presence of a tropical jungle. This woodland is perfect home for elephant, bushbuck, blue primate, and huge crowds of olive baboon. Some parts are dry bush land enticing zebra, impala and giraffe, whereas the lakeshore offers another habitat, ideal for flamingos and other shore birds. Overnight: Public campsite at Lake Manyara. Meals: Breakfast, lunch& dinner

    Lake Manyara-Lake Natron This morning you move through Engaruka Town towards Lake Natron on a partly rough and dusty road. ON our way you will see several Maasai villages, termite mounds, gazelle, giraffe, zebra, baboons, bee boxes, and birds such as vultures, ostrich, starlings, Cory Bustards, and kites. The drive takes you some 4 hours on a somewhat dirty and rough road. In the afternoon you go on a guided walk around Lake Natron the lowest point of the Great Rift Valley in Tanzania (600m / 2000 ft.) and renowned for a huge figure of flamingos and other water birds due to a high concentrate of in sodium carbonate, algae, and zooplankton. Overnight: Public campsite at Lake Natron. Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

    Lake Natron You will have a full day in the settings of Lake Natron. You visit a Masai Village and go for a walk up a Ngare Sero River which streams into Lake Natron. In contrast to the surrounding dry scenery, here you can find a small paradise. After an active walk up the watercourse, we reach the source of the river, in flowing cascades the river floods out of the mountains. It is an outstanding swim in the river and under the cascades for a nice cool-down from the hot sun. There may be baboons or other wildlife in the gorge. 2nd Overnight: ublic campsite at Lake Natron.     Lake Natron-Serengeti National Park After breakfast you twitch your way towards Serengeti with some wildlife and several Masai villages to spot along the way. You cross Loliondo Area, a concession bordering Serengeti National Park and drive further towards the Western Corridor where the Great Migration is expected to pass over in June/July. After halting for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) at Serengeti you will proceed further into the park and go on a game drive on your way to Ikoma. Overnight: ublic campsite at Serengeti. Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

    Serengeti National Park Home To Wildebeest Migration A full day of game drives around Serengeti. Contingent on the time of year and the migration of the herds you can anticipate to spot wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, primates, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other species. Your Driver/Guide will be in contact with other safari guides and will astonish you with his skill at finding the hidden animals. Overnight: Public campsite at Serengeti.     Serengeti-Ngorongoro Crater After an early a.m. game drive to spot also nocturnal predators gets back from hunting and animals waking up in early a.m. light. After breakfast in the bush you wii get to go to Seronera Visitors Center and continue with game drives at Serengeti on your wayto Naabi Hill Gate. Slope down to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area with arrival late afternoon for some time at leisure at your campsite overlooking Ngorongoro Crater. Overnight: Public campsite at Ngorongoro.     Ngorongoro Crater You spend your day at Ngorongoro Conservation Area the home-grown of the world renowned Ngorongoro Crater. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a ordinary reserve for some of Africa’s densest animal populations and one of the few homes where the sporadic black rhino can be experienced in its natural home. There are various options to spend the reminder of the day (at additional cost): • Visit of a Masai Village (extra cost of 30 USD per vehicle) • Ranger guided Nature Walk along the Crater Rim (25 USD per person) Overnight at a public campsite at Ngorongoro Crater (2-nights) Meals: Breakfast lunch & dinner

    Lake Eyasi From Ngorongoro you will be heading to Lake Eyasi home-grown to the hunter-gathers ethnic group of the Hadzabe Bushmen bearing the same features to those of Bushmen at Southern Africa. The small people of this native ethnic group are perhaps the last living in true accord with countryside and have a wealth of Fauna and Flora knowledge to stake with us. The days are full with trips and walks guided by bushmen taking you on their old-style hunting tracks. You will also get to see the Datoga ethnic group, an ethnic group of cattle keepers, well-known for their interesting leather clothing. Overnight: Bush camp at Lake Eyasi. Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

    Tarangire Early a.m. you go on a game gait guided by the Hadzabe bushmen taking you on their old-style hunting tracks. Later on, you will head to Tarangire, the sanctuary for remarkably large elephant residents. Regal baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that forage beneath them. Animals focus along the Tarangire River, which offers the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great assortment of wildlife counting lion, leopard, cheetah and up to six myriads of elephants. Overnight: Public campsite at Tarangire. Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

    Tarangire-Arusha/Zanzibar You spend your morning still on game drives before you get back to Arusha. Your guide will take you to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Transfer to the beach resort of your choice (our suggestion: Bellevue Guesthouse, Casa del Mar or Coral Rock at the beautiful Zanzibar East Coast). Breakfast included.

    Spice Trip After having breakfast transferred to Stone town. On the way we will visit the well-known Spice Tour. We have developed a special Spice Tour with in depth information not only about spices, but also organically grown herbs and a detailed description about their traditional uses in medicine cosmetics and cooking. After the trip we invite for a luxurious lunch at our guides’ home, where you can taste the spices and fruits. In the afternoon you have some time at leisure.     Historical Stone Town In the morning we will show you Stone Town on our Historical Stone Town Trip. This trip takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the Anglican Church and the Arab Fort between others, it is a captivating look at the spirit of Zanzibar. You will sight Zanzibar’s bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals and countless mosques! The reminder of the day is reserved for own discoveries. 2nd overnight House of Spices. Breakfast included.
